Abstract This paper will discuss the many issues, both good and bad with respect to how a leadership, transitional leadership style to be specific, can help support and/or hinder team development. The paper will present some of the factors that influence leadership and the effects that a transitional leadership can have on the overall development of team growth in the business sector.
